KINDNESS I was recently asked,"What is my motto?" I immediately thought of KINDNESS. I usually don't think I have a 'motto' but I do think about how important KINDNESS is in my life. It's the first thing that 'pops' up in my mind when I experience any upset or disagreeable thought (my own) or happening (outer) that is not  KIND.  I received an email telling about an island in the Caribbean that has 'come back to life' by eliminating rodents and some animals. There are birds returning and a sanctuary that is flourishing, trees, grasses and all good things growing to sustain the island. It is such good news1 When I was reading it, I realized how relaxed my body became reading good, prosperous  news! It was KIND! I have always preferred the word KIND to LOVE. To me KIND is so much wider, deeper than the word LOVE. It says more.It 'drips' softness, affection, love and attention for so many different subjects. ( I understand that there are

I was wondering what gift I could give them that would be special. One night I woke up and suddenly there was a vivid 'scene' flooding my brain about what it would be. I started writing and it became my first 'story'  out of the blue . I was amazed at the clarity and the brilliance of my thoughts and my words I was madly WRITING down in one sitting. i don't remember even editing it. It simply flowed. I was most pleased.                                                                                          MAGICAL NIGHT This is a story about Jeffrey and H eart a fantasy that is nevertheless true because of all the love they share. Gifts that simply show up unexpectedly, and with such an impact on me! Someone introduced me to an unusually gifted person who has written poetry that truly makes my heart sing! Her name is Mary Oliver. She was born in 1935 and passed in 2019. She wrote poems of nature and all the exquisite descriptions of even a leaf or a waterfall that is rapturous! She also wrote about her life and experiences she had that were the most meaningful. The blend of the two is so fluid. I do get carried away talking or even thinking about her brilliance. I have a new Kindle and have borrowed 3 books from the library just so I can bathe in her words. I know I'll be purchasing some of her work as well. I do not know when I have been so INSPIRED by any
ADVENTURE When I was in my 50’s in California, A group of us ‘did’ a ROPES COURSE. There were several different events we could do but ours was the TYROLEAN TRAVERSE. I had never even heard of it before I went so I didn’t know what to expect, but I did know it would probably be the biggest challenge of my life! And it was. The site was situated in woods and a ravine, a very deep ravine, that’s all I can remember. It was a beautiful location. As we approached the platform of the TYROLEAN TRAVERSE, I started to really get anxious. As I looked out over the ravine I really got anxious! The people strapped me to a harness which was attached to a very long zip line that extended all the way across the ravine. They instructed me that once I was all harnessed in and hooked up, I was to jump off the platform and literally go sliding on the zip line to the center of the ravine. I completely froze and the supervisor said “she’ll never jump!” I took a deep breath and said ‘oh
